Meeting description
The kick off meeting of the MOTIVE project was held in Bologna on February 24th, 2020.
The meeting, initially planned to take place from 24th to 27th of February, due to the decision of Italian authorities that declared the coronavirus outbreak as public-health emergency and forbade any kind of public or private meetings and events, was organized on 24th of February in a virtual way.
The meeting was attended by all staff members of MOTIVE project that were already arrived in Bologna and saw the participation of the Ministry of Education and Training in Vietnam, of the representatives of the 9 Vietnamese Partner Universities (Hanoi University; Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology ; National University of Art Education; Vietnam National University of Agriculture; Thai Nguyen University; Academy of Journalism and Communication; Hanoi University of Home Affairs; Hanoi Tourism College; Halong University ), of Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Association as well as of the associate partner, Ho Chi Minh City Open University. The delegation from the European Partners of FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences, International Consulting and Mobility Agency– INCOMA and the Agencia Nacional de Evaluación de la Calidad y Acreditación– ANECA were also present on 24th of February.
Due to the exceptional circumstances, the virtual Steering Committee held focused mainly on the most urgent matter, which is to say the Partnership Agreement definition: transfer and payments for staff costs, travel and costs of stay and equipment purchase.
Documents and presentations related to all the topics planned to be discussed during the kick-off meeting are available to partners.
Further bilateral exchanges will be set with all the consortium members in the forthcoming days, so to avoid any delay in project implementation.
